RETURN TO PRACTICE ON MONDAY JULY 6TH:

*         JULY 6th - QUARTERBACK CLUB MEETING @ 6:00 IN CAFETERIA

*         July 6th - Same workout schedule;

8:00am - 9:30am OR 4:30pm-6:00pm

Skill positions practice at 6:00pm (varsity only)

*         July 27th - First Full Day of Pads - New to Schedule

*         July 31st: 9:00AM is the Indy Scrimmage

*         AUGUST 3rd - QUARTERBACK CLUB MEETING @ 6:00 IN CAFETERIA

*         Aug. 6th: FOOTBALL PICTURES; immediately after practice

*        Aug. 6th: 6:00 PM   “MEET THE TEAM NIGHT AND DINNER”. This is a
mandatory meeting for all parents and players! If your son is playing
Patriot Football you will need to plan to attend this meeting along with
your son. This is a family venue as well so please plan on bringing your
whole family for a “Pot Luck” type meal.  I will send out information
regarding the food and venue for this event after our Quarterback Club
meeting on Monday.

*        Aug. 6th - Deadline for the Patriot Football Program Ad’s

*         Aug. 7th: Brentwood High; Time TBA

*         Aug. 14th: Jamboree @ Shelbyville; Time TBA (Varsity, JV and
freshmen will attend)

We will be selling tickets to the Jamboree & Patriot T-shirts during lunch
the week of the Jamboree. More info to come on this!

*         SEPT. 7th - QUARTERBACK CLUB MEETING @ 6:00 IN CAFETERIA

Parents, it’s our chance to carry the ball for the Page High School
Patriots!!!!We’re putting together the football program for the 2009 season
and it’s your chance to support your player and your team.This is one of our
biggest fundraisers for the team and we need everyone to help. How can I do
that you ask……Place an ad for your player. Promote your business with an
ad Ask your favorite business to support the team with an Ad Give your
employer an opportunity to support the team with some VERY reasonable
advertisingYou may or may not know that ALL equipment, uniforms, drinks,
snacks, charter buses, workout equipment, field expenses, t-shirts, and
banquets/awards are paid for by the money WE raise for the team. The school
system DOES NOT pay for these things. With a budget for the team of more
than $25,000 for the next season we need everyone to participate in each
fundraiser.Please take advantage of this opportunity to show your support of
your player and your team.’

Here are a few upcoming events on the football schedule that I want to
highlight;

*         DEAD PERIOD: June 22nd - July 5th; Great time to make your summer
vacation plans!

*         July 6th - Start of Regular Season Practice; more info from Coach

This is a MANDANTORY meeting for ALL parents and players! If your son is
playing Patriot Football you will need to plan to attend this meeting along with your son. This is a family
venue as well so please make plans to bring your whole family for a “Pot Luck” type
meal.  We will set up in the cafeteria for an old fashion “Football Pot Luck” dinner. More
information on the “Pot Luck” side of the event to come later in the summer.

PLEASE Remember our Patriot Golf Scramble coming up on June 8th! It is our
only major fund-raisers of the year to raise money for our football
program……..Please let me know if you need any more information on the
Golf Tourney!

Please review the summer schedule that was sent out earlier for all the
other upcoming dates~

Just a REMINDER of the football schedule for the summer; see attached. Today
is the first official day work-outs begin….

Please don’t forget the Golf Tournament on June 8th…….we still need
sponsors, foursomes to play and more. Please contact Mark Mutz at
navemates@aol.com  for more info or to sign up. It takes us all to make this
a great football program!

**Athletic Physicals for PHS Football Players @ The Bone and Joint Clinic,
Franklin

A few items to know:

1.  Athletes MUST only use the Bone and Joint Physical Form.  (Link is below). We had one
group that came through with only the TSSAA form.  Needless to say this
created lots of confusion, delayed screenings, and long waits for the kids
and parents.  Please be sure to use the correct forms.  (Not the ATC’s
fault).

2. IT is OK to come a little early if you want. But, not too early.  We had
kids in line at 4:30 yesterday! (I would suggest 20-30 mins).

Parents; please tell your son(s) that Coach Daniels will have a team meeting
in the morning, Tuesday May 19 @ 9:15AM in the field house.
